Healing is a Process

There are moments of progress and steps back to old ways of being.  The process of healing and growing is not a straight line. 🔀
Remember that when we revisit former patterns we’re not starting over from square one but rather deepening our understanding and resolve.

1. Radical Acceptance

As they say, what we resist, persists.

Instead, change begins when we radically accept where we are today with lots of compassion.

2.  Taking in New Information

When we’ve been hurt or traumatized, it can be especially difficult to open up to new information about what occurred and new ways of being moving forward.

3.  Transforming Ourselves

Learning to be radically authentic & befriending ourselves when we’ve already experienced harm from doing so, takes extra courage to be this vulnerable again.

4.  Transforming Our Relationships

Changing destructive or unhelpful relationship patterns begins with mindful curiosity of why we do this in the first place, and then practice taking a different course of action.
