How to Reparent Yourself

6 Steps to Reparenting Yourself

The concept of reparenting yourself may seem odd but can be so instrumental in your process of healing, growth and enjoyment of life.
If your parents were abusive, neglectful or simply imperfect, learning to reparent yourself as an adult helps the younger part of you develop, evolve and feel cared for.
6 Steps to Reparenting Yourself

1.  Show Up

When you’re down, stressed or upset, show up by treating yourself like a good enough parent who cares, listens and attends to your needs.

2.  Give Yourself Unconditional Love
