We are attracted to relationships that mirror our childhood experiences that are familiar to us. We unconsciously desire to heal past wounds by recreating them as adults, hoping for a different outcome. We crave connection and companionship more than we honor personal integrity. Increasing our self-awareness about all this helps us choose differently to enjoy healthier relationships.
